Crystal A. Frost is a classically trained film composer, music supervisor, and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. With a PhD in Music Composition & Theory from UCLA, Crystal also applies her knowledge to journalism, having served as a contributing writer for Grammy.com as well as writing press releases and web content for other artists.

Crystal's experience as a film composer and music supervisor spans all genres, from family movies to horror movies to romantic dramas. With a strong background in orchestration, Crystal enjoys making film scores sound as though they are being played by professional orchestras. When scoring foreign and period films, Crystal has experience incorporating lesser-known instruments to the score, making it more authentic to the time and place.

As a songwriter, Crystal's songs have also been used in films, including "Monkey Business" which was featured in the end credits of Gibby. Crystal is currently in the production phase of her debut album, which she hopes to release by 2025.
